Sas lapias is a really particular and unique Sardinian waterfall. The most interesting aspect of this waterfall is that it's triple. Despite there is only one stream, before the jump it splits in three part making three distinct waterfalls. At the bottom there is a small lake, but it is quite uncomfortable staying there because there isn't enough space for taking pictures safely, so be careful.

 Access rating

Reaching the place is pretty easy and there is parking for the car. Going to the waterfall is simple and following the path marked in red on the map would allow to arrive to the waterfall without big issues. As always if you need more information or need a guide don't hesitate to contact me.

You can arrive from Buddusò village or Bitti village. From Buddusò you can follow the SS389 road until you reach the point marked in the map (metal gate), instead if you arrive from Bitti you'll have to follow the same road (SS389) but in the opposite way. Once you'll arrive at the gate, if it's closed, you have to close it once you have passed. Follow the offroad until you reach a house, where you can leave the car, and finally follow the foot path marked in the map.

This waterfall is active only in winter, during the rainy season.

In the area near the waterfall, there is an interesting nuragic complex called Romanzesu; I advise you to check the website before planning a visit.
