Proud as a buzzard

As you know I'm following this couple of buzzards from some years, but I've never tried a near photo with a wideangle lens, so I've done some try but without any result. The problem perhaps is related at the camera really too close to the usual perch, so the buzzard seeing this new element, that there's not, didn't go on the perch or it was very diffident. So I decided to put some little wood's pieces, with some dry leafs, to simulate a small tripod and to see how the couple behaiviour. Today, when I went to seeing, coming Always at night in order to don't see me from them, I noticed  with pleasure that they landed on the perch near the false tripod. This is a good news because now I'll be able to try this wideangle shoot.

During the photographic session, I noticed that the couple buzzards doesn't argue when they eat something: one of them stay quite far from the other, sometime it shouts or it comes nearer, but without arguing, and it's quite strange because on the Net I've seen lots of pictures with buzzards arguing for a prey. Another interesting fact was the "third buzzard". When I was watching the two buzzard I had heard the "voice" of a third buzzard, but I couldn't see it, so I thought it was far or it was only passing above me. Instead then I've heard the verse of the buzzard really near and I thought that one of the two buzzard was landed near my blind, instead it was an eurasian jay!! Yes, with a great surprise I've discovered that this bird can make very different verses, like baby plays, or like other birds as the common Kingfisher and, of course, the buzard's verse. Now I know that when in the past I heard the voice of a third buzzard, probably, was an eurasian jay that jokes me.
