Kestrel, a small hawk - part 3

After days of remote observation and seeing that adults often were not present, I still decide for a support. Waking up in the morning is always heavy (today I woke up at 3.30), but the initial stunning lasts little and I immediately prepare myself. I arrive in the cliff 30 minutes before the runset, so I can prepare the hanging with the camouflage nets, then I sit and wait.

As you can see from the picture, the apposition is not always easy ... In this case, I came close to a small bush, covering the equipment, part of the bush and myself with the camouflage net. To keep away from the human silhouette, I am curled up and sitting alongside the tripod and in the meantime I watch into the openings of the net and I "talk" with the ants that lifting my arms ...

But fortunately waiting is shrot and the female starts to bring food into the nest, in this case a little mouse that doesn't leave in, but takes it away:

 
I don't know the reason, but it might be that the ypung had other food, but in fact I would not know. In any case I think this prey has not been wasted, as always happens in Nature. The movement of the female continues for about an hour, then the male is also seen, but without food and also in a hurry, so that I can not make a decent shot, while the female instead gets more easily and for a long time given the Maternal instinct that causes her to often control her son:

Of the Young apart the calls for food I can not say anything, not even how many are. Surely they are still not big enough to leave the nest, which should be next month and I would not want to miss, so let's wait patiently.
